Pinochle (pronounced PEE-nuk-ul) is a classic trick-taking and melding card game usually played by two to four players with a specialized 48-card deck. The objective is to be the first team to reach a target score (often 1,500 points) by bidding, melding, and capturing valuable cards in tricks.
