Winter Storm Fern Update

🏛️ The following City facilities will be closed for business Monday due to inclement weather from Winter Storm Fern:

• Katy City Hall

• Municipal Courts

• Fussell Senior Activity Center

• Parks Rental Facilities & Museums

🕕 City Council Meeting

City staff will continue to monitor weather and road conditions to determine whether we can safely proceed with the Regular City Council Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

At this time, we plan to have the doors to City Hall open by 5:30 p.m. for those who plan to attend the meeting.

If you are unable to attend as planned, please watch the meeting here: www.cityofkaty.com/live. Any public comments can be sent to councilmembers@cityofkaty.com — these will not be read aloud at the meeting, but will be distributed to all of City Council and applicable staff.

🗳️ Early Voting – Katy Civic Center

City staff will continue to monitor weather and road conditions to determine whether we can safely open the Katy Civic Center to continue Early Voting for the January 31, 2026 Special Officers’ Election (unexpired term).

At this time, the plan is to open the polls at 8:00 a.m., weather and conditions permitting.
