With the potential for heavy rain in the coming days, our Public Works crews are actively monitoring conditions and clearing drainage systems citywide to help reduce the risk of localized flooding.
You can support these efforts by keeping nearby storm drains clear. Leaves, litter, and debris can quickly block drainage and cause water to back up.
If you see a blocked drain:
• Use a dustpan, shovel, or even a trash can lid to remove debris from the surface
• Gloves are recommended
• Bag and dispose of debris properly
