The countdown to the 4th of July is on! As you prepare for the holiday, here's an important reminder about fireworks in the City of Katy.

Fireworks are NOT allowed within Katy city limits.

This is a ticketable offense with fines up to $200 and may result in seizure and destruction of the fireworks.

This rule does not apply to areas under limited-purpose annexation (like Willow Creek Farms) or the Greater Katy Area (e.g., Pin Oak Village, Firethorne, Cinco Ranch, Lakecrest, Williamsburg, etc.). Be sure to check County and HOA regulations.
