April 2023 has been declared as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" and Wednesday, April 26, 2023 "Denim Day"

April 9-15, 2023 has been declared as Public Safety Telecommunicators Week to recognize all of the hard working
9-1-1 operators who are mainly behind the scenes, but one of the first lines of communication with our citizens in an emergency and vital to our City Police and Fire Departments

April 15, 2023 has been declared "Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off Day" which coincides with the annual Keep Katy Beautiful Trash-Off Event to help pick up litter and trash around the community

April 22, 2023 has been declared "Relay for Life Day" which coincides with the Relay for Life Katy event to celebrate cancer survivors, caregivers, and those who lost their battle with their disease.
