Katy Management District No. 1 is a special-purpose governmental district that serves as an infrastructure and economic development partner, helping finance, maintain, and manage improvements that support growth within its boundaries.

The District may provide and finance public improvements and services such as roadways, drainage, utilities, landscaping, beautification, parking, public safety, maintenance, and other projects that promote development and enhance the area for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Board of Directors oversees the District's operations, including budgets, tax rates, audits, contracts, public improvement projects, and compliance with state law. Public documents such as budgets, audits, tax notices, and meeting information are maintained through the District's public information portal.

This collaborative approach helps support economic development, improve infrastructure, and enhance property values while contributing to the continued growth and vitality of the Katy community.
