In 2023, Keep Katy Beautiful partnered with Up Art Studio and artist Emily Ding to transform the traffic control box at the intersection of Pin Oak Road and Kingsland Boulevard into a vibrant work of art.

Featuring native Texas wildflowers—including the iconic bluebonnet, our state flower—the mural brings a burst of color and cultural charm to an everyday streetscape. It serves as a beautiful reminder that even in the most unexpected places, nature can inspire and uplift our community.
