May 22, 2025 Grand Opening: Katy Visitors Center

We are proud to announce the opening of the Katy Visitors Center, located in the heart of our Historic Town Square.

Serving as the central hub for both tourists and residents, the Visitors Center offers brochures and up-to-date information on local events, attractions, and points of interest throughout the Katy area. The center features state-of-the-art interactive screens that educate visitors about Katy’s rich history through engaging displays and interactive maps.

In addition, the Visitors Center includes a dedicated Kid Zone, where children can play and learn about the key industries that shaped Katy’s legacy — including trains, rice farming, and oil & gas — all of which put Katy on the map.

More than just an information center, this new community space celebrates Katy’s heritage, vibrant culture, and promising future. It stands as a welcoming gateway to all that makes Katy a remarkable destination — from our thriving small businesses to our beautiful parks and engaging public events.
